FILM AND BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS FOR APRIL
April is Genocide Awareness and Prevention Month. As we are not able to join together in person to honor the memorial days that take place month, we hope this list will help you explore and learn more about past and current genocides. As Anne Frank said, “What is done cannot be undone, but one can prevent it from happening again.” Our hope is that through awareness and education, we can end and prevent genocide from occurring in our time. Note that this is a working list so please check back as we’ll continue to add recommendations through that month.
